Foursight Theatre (1987 - 2012)

Foursight Theatre closed in 2012. Foursight created theatre inspired by women: unknown; famous and infamous. Each new work bore the imprint of all those who made it. Foursight was a highly acclaimed national and international touring theatre company. It gained an exceptional reputation for creating unusual, uncompromising and multi-disciplinary work. Foursight was committed to creating both devised and text-based theatre which placed the actor at the centre of the process, combining word, movement and music. At different points in its history, Foursight Theatre's Artistic Directors were: Mary Alderson; Naomi Cooke; Jill Dowse; Kate Hale; Frances Land; Sue Pendlebury; Sarah Thom.
