Corner Shop School and Community Project

The Corner Shop School and Community Project, with Class 5 of West Park Primary School, is a mirror project of the Autumn Corner Shop Production in the Mander Centre. Using the same model, the starting point is the investigation of the lives of those both in front of and behind the counter of small, family-run ‘corner' shops.

The project will be driven by the imaginations and interests of the participating children. Who knows where it'll take us and what stories we'll gather along the way!

The culmination will be an unique and original response to the findings of the children's research. This will be shared with the wider school and community.
