The Telford School Workshop, Spring 2008

In May 2008 Foursight were asked to run a residency in Phoenix School, Dawley, Telford.

It was felt by the staff at the school that the year 10 students were reluctant to use stylised or physical forms of theatre. Foursight were invited in to lead the students through explorations of possible responses to stimuli, set by their Expressive Arts Exam Board, using physical and stylised forms.

Thirty students were taken off timetable, and Lisa Harrison, Foursight's Learning & Particpation Co-ordinator, ran a two-day workshop addressing the key needs of the year 10 group.
