The Company

There simply isn’t a weak link in the chain…
It is a heady cocktail

The Stage

Over the last twenty-one years, Foursight Theatre has gained an exceptional reputation for creating unusual, uncompromising and multi-disciplinary work which reviews history through the eyes of women: unknown, famous and infamous. We are committed to creating both devised and text-based theatre which places the actor at the centre of the process, combining word, movement and music.

Central to our creative approach are the following core values:

  • A commitment to high quality work which is both thought-provoking and risk-taking, whilst at the same time remaining accessible to a wide-ranging audience.
  • Nurturing individual creative responsibility within a collaborative and non-hierarchical process and structure.
  • The empowerment of women, both artistically and in the world of business

Foursight Theatre is a Regularly Funded Organisation funded by Arts Council England, West Midlands and has also received funding from: The National Lottery, The Foundation for Sport & The Arts, The British Council, The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The William Cadbury Trust Fund, English Heritage, The Heritage Lottery Fund, The Sir Barry Jackson Trust and other charitable trusts.

Foursight has toured extensively in the UK and to South Africa, Germany, Hungary, Canada and the USA.
